New Site

Here is the address to the other site I will be posting pictures on. http://sgtsatterlee.textamerica.com/ I should have some pictures up within the next couple of days. I just have to get to the MWR and get a computer that accepts thumbdrives. We have made it back to our FOB safely and the MWR is up and running. Also I would like to say high to Kat's mom. He told me yesterday she has found the site. Kat is doing well eventhough I have to keep him in line. Pushups never hurt anyone though right? I will post pix ASAP and will try to get as many of our soldiers on as possible. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Dad you are too good! ALways beating us (except for the lat post - GOTCHA!!!!

J - Mom had a friend at work that went out and bought you Season 1 and 3 of "24". Mom had to preivew them to make sure they were suitable for her little boy to watch (he he). She said they are AWESOME! So I will be sending them out Friday.

I can not wait to see some pictures!!!!

Becky bought hangers, TP, and wipes for you and is paying for the shipping and handling for this package. It was very nice of her!

Hailey and I pulled the weeds out of the strawberry patch and played outside for 3 hours this a.m. Then we took a 2 hour nap. I was really busy all weekend (First full weekend off in a long time and instead of realxing I have to keep myself BUSY. Vaccumed and de-cobwebbed the basement and made candles yesterday.

Nate and Hailey and I went walking around Kent park lake today. It was so beautiful out. Then we saw dad fishing. Then we went to pick up mom and took her out for chinese at my favorite chinese spot. I got to see both parents in the same day! That NEVER happens! I was so happy.

I am up way too late. It's 9:40 and I get up at 4:30. Going to be a short night for sleeping.

SO glad you posted again. Even gladder that you made it back to FOB!!! Can't wait to see those pictures!

Love your big little sis

J - I had to take a deep breathe when I looked at your pictures. This is going to sound funny but it just hit me that you are REALLY there! The pictures were amazing and tell us only a fraction fo the real experiences of what you see everyday.

I can't imagine wearing that gear everyday in the blistering heat. I can't imagine being surrounded by people who do not speak your language wondering who is a threat and who is not.

On the other hand I can only begin to imagine the daily impact you have on the lives of those who are less fortunate than we are. You have hands on opportunities to assist and help those who need it most. I am so proud and moved by you being there. Thank you for spreading a little humanity and freedom each and every day. Wish there was more we could do to help.

I hope you are journaling a little everyday to help remind you of what you have been through. You will cherish it years down the road and sharing it with others will be amazing!

I have a box ready to be shipped this week. Need to pick up some low carb stuff for you. If you have any other special requests be sure to e-mail me them. Are there specific soldiers that could use a pick me up that have specific needs? Let me know that too.

Keep the pictures coming...

Love always
Your big little sis
